NAPALM DEATH's MITCH HARRIS To Guest On FORBIDDEN Guitarist's 'Omega Wave' Podcast

September 2, 2011

The next installment of FORBIDDEN guitarist Craig Locicero's "Omega Wave" podcast will host guitarist Mitch Harris of British grindcore pioneers NAPALM DEATH. Tune in to the show this Sunday, September 4 at 6:30 p.m. Pacific / 9:30 p.m. Eastern at this location.

States Locicero: "Mitch is an American citizen who's been living in the U.K. for many years. He has a different perspective being in another continent than the rest of us living here on a day-to-day basis. This week [co-host] Bill [Shields] and I are going to discuss the post-9/11 world. It's the tenth anniversary since the attacks and we are asking ourselves some questions... What's worse? What's better? Has any justice truly been served? Were we all being told the truth about the attackers' identities and motives? Has America and the rest of the world learned anything from that tragic day? These questions are sure to raise anger and passion in some individuals, but that's what we do on our show. Ask tough questions!

"This should be a powerful show as Mitch was an excellent guest when we had him on with Jon Schaffer [ICED EARTH] for a roundtable discussion a few months ago."

Craig Locicero and his co-host "Barbwire" Bill Shields (former host for "In The Dark Radio", professional wrestler and current ordained minister of the collective conscious) will be taking questions and speaking off-the-cuff on whatever news-related and controversial subject may come up.

The goals of the show are two-fold:

1) To speak to different compelling and controversial lyricists in metal and hard rock weekly. They will be asked about their motivation, their craft, and what exactly inspires them in these challenging times to do what they do. Their thoughts and opinions on the most current affairs and intensely debated issues will also be discussed.

2) Have listeners sit in on a real conversation between good friends without censorship watering those thoughts down. Hosts Bill and Craig will be taking questions and topic suggestions live and will have unfiltered reactions to them in real time. These conversations will not hold back and could get very heated at times, depending on the topic.

Previous podcasts and guests have included: Jon Schaffer (ICED EARTH, SONS OF LIBERTY),Henrik Ohlsson (SCAR SYMMETRY) and Neil Fallon (CLUTCH). All of them had much different points of view but all generally want the same thing: a better world for our children's children to live in.
